Astro Boy
Astro Boy, soaring high
Transformers meets the eye
Commodore 64
Pacman, gobble gobble
Atari – River Raid
chug, chug, chug, refuel
SEGA
Sonic vs the Professor
High school, homework
No boyfriends allowed
just friends
Tihous!
Walls!
TV off at sex
No colouring of hair
No sleeping at friends houses
Respect.
Did you watch the news?
A girl was stabbed
Clubbing and curfews
Remember a girl was stabbed
No boyfriends allowed
Just husbands
Kissing, lots of kissing…

Wow, memory lane! Great poem, love the sharp, short lines and the repetition, Koraly.
Tomorrow after work I’m gonna have to watch some Astro Boy now!

Thanks Ashley. I grew up with Astro Boy, and watching him as an adult always makes me nostalgic.

I like this one, I’m just disappointed there was no swearing, I thought to myself ‘Fuck, where’s the fuck?’

Well not all my poems have swearing in them. Are you asking because you read my poems regularly and have noticed the swearing? Or are you being sarcastic?
